The Holy Grail of Skin Care Products!

If you know me, you know I don’t like change. I love being familiar with something and sticking to it. That’s why I’ve been obsessed with and using these skincare products for a couple years now and my face is so thankful for them!

I’ve actually been pretty lucky with my face and skin all around. I grew up doing the bare minimum and never seemed to care or have a problem with my skin. I would only notice that I had a few dry patches on my face whenever the weather would change but that was pretty much it. I think I definitely got it from my mom. She gave me her skin and her love for a bare face (I think the last time she put make up on was her wedding day!) Believe me, I loveeee getting dolled up and having a full face of make up every now and then but for everyday I definitely prefer a naked face with just the essential skin care products.

As I got older and gave more thought about how my skin looks and how I wanted it to stay looking young and healthy, I started to look into different skin care products. I didn’t know where to start so I just asked around and started using different samples here and there. I actually came across my moisturizer in a gift box from some Clinique make up that I bought and I absolutely loved it! it was super creamy and soft on my face without having a strong smell. I make sure to get the Dry to Super Dry Combination moisturizer for that extra hydration.(there’s also an Normal to Oily Combination one of the same brand) I only used that for a couple of months before I found and perfected my whole routine.

The Moisture Surge hydrator, under-eye gel, and lip balm all came as samples whenever I would buy my moisturizer and I completely fell in love with them! I immediately started buying the full size of everything and I can’t go a day without them! The Moisture Surge line is more of a thinner gel-like substance while the regular moisturizer is a thicker material. I watched this skin care video once that taught me to always apply thinnest to thickest. So I usually put the under-eye gel, then the hydrator and wait a little while it dries on my face and then apply the moisturizer and lip balm at the end. Maybe one of these days I’ll change up my routine and try something new but for now, I’m going to stick to what I know and love!
