I absolutely love everything about the holidays and as a kid, I’ve always felt super left out around this time since we don’t actually celebrate Christmas. All the decor and the movies and the crazy shopping, it was all super exciting! As a kid, I begged my mom to decorate our house for the Holidays but she would never agree to it since she didn’t want to confuse what holiday we don’t celebrate and what we do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Years later, living in my own house now, I have freedom to do anything I want now but I still want to respect my culture and religion so I found a way to decorate for the holiday time while still staying true to how I was raised. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s probably the only time I ever have color in my house but adding pops of red around this time of year just feels right. I do have to stick to my monochromatic tones for the majority of the decor though, I just can’t help it! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
